The ICCT is looking for an Intern to join our office in Beijing, working to support the transition of the transport sector to zero-emission technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the nonprofit sector. You will report to an ICCT Associate Researcher.
You Will:

Contribute to research projects that analyze and communicate the status of environmental transportation policies adopted in China- Support conducting statistical analysis under guidance from ICCT's research staff
- Support report translation and outreach material drafting works
- Deliver ad-hoc tasks as needed
You Have:
- Be in your 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate or 1st year of graduate studies in automobile engineering, environmental sciences, or other related disciplines
- Knowledge of automobile technology and experience of relevant projects is preferred
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent research, analytical, and quantitative skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with databases using statistical languages/softwares such as R, Python and Tableau
- Proficiency in English and Chinese
- Ability to work 3-5 days per week (ideally at least 30 hr per week) for a duration of 6-12 months
Our Benefits
This internship will be based in ICCT's Beijing office with a duration of 6 months, with the potential to extend to 12 months. ICCT will provide a laptop and other office equipment as needed. This internship offers a salary of CNY 4,000 per month (30 hrs/wk), or an amount proportional to the workload allowed by your university.
